We're proud to finally be able to say that our showcase site, www.videoaberdeen.com is now live. Christmas is a busy time of year for Deepblue however, despite all the odds, we put in the hours and finished the site late last night.
We hope you like :)

Shaun White - update
We were speaking pish - the Wii version of SW, while super good fun, is nothing compared to the xbox one that's accounted for way too many late nights here.
If you do not have this game already, buy it now.
On another, completely unrelated subject, if you don't have Emiliana Torrini 's new album, buy that now too.
In fact, maybe put Emiliana first. Once heard, definitely never forgotten. Incredible, uplifting, deep tunes.
You can buy it here. You could, very obviously, download it from other places but, being honest, that wouldn't be fair.
Buy it then mail me if you hate it. Empty postbag methinks

We've just been commissioned to co-ordinate a comprehensive web marketing campaign for the specialist Cufflink website, World of Cufflinks . . . expect to see Google domination anytime soon ;)
Shaun White Snowboarding - our verdict
Yep - first thing Friday and we could be found in the local Gamestation getting a copy of Shaun White Snowboarding. The hype is to be believed - it actually *is* the best snowboarding game ever made - particularly the Wii version.
Finally we can take a break from bowling, golf and tennis and do smth a little more interesting instead. This game is great - buy it now :)

Bored at work . . . .
Just a few ideas to while away the tedium . . . . click here
Google outdoes itself again
Not content with being the most powerful, relevant and omnipotent search tool on the planet, Google also has a raft of other cool stuff (as we're sure you know already).
One of the coolest of these is the mighty Google Earth, it's real world mapping tool that uses data from NASA to give you a ufo's eye view of the planet - to the point you can zoom right down onto your own rooftop, Bourne Identity style . . . unless, of course, you live in a complete backwater that amounts to a lane and lamp post (their data pretty much covers populated areas).
Anyway - that's all well and good for now but what about how it looked in the past? How about a virtual 3D tour of ancient Rome for instance?
Yep - amongst many, many other things that has been developed around the Google Earth model. you can now view ancient Rome in all its splendour.
I did Latin at school - so naturally, i think it's wicked - but even if you didn't, it's still worth a shufty. If only to see what happens when too many great minds get together in the same room and someone ventures forth, "I wonder what would happen if we tried . . . ."

Also, if you want to go see it first hand, go here - earth.google.com/rome/

Wii're Wii Fit
No, not really . . . but yeah, the upcoming Shaun White game did mean a trip into town to try track down a Wii plus balance board. Be warned - getting hold of a Wii Fit (ie balance board) was no small task. We tried pretty much every shop in town before having to settle for a second hand one from Game.
Still - roll on Friday . . . we've already got it booked as a 'public holiday' of sorts . . .
